“Don’t Reach in the Bag” is about a young woman who applies for a job at an adult video store because she figured the dress code will be lax, and ends up working there for 6 years. This One-Woman show is written by and starring Shalewa Sharpe, who shares stories about customers, the porn industry and herself. It’s funny, informative and relatable. She showcases the people who need porn and the folks brave enough to sell it to them. The show is 45-50 mins long and has a 10-15 min Q&A afterward (Shalewa’s favorite part of the show).

 

Shalewa Sharpe is a Stand-Up Comedian, writer and actor who resides in Brooklyn, NY. Her credits include HBO’s 2 Dope Queens, The New Negroes on Comedy Central and The Tonight Show. She also has 2 comedy albums “Stay Eatin Cookies” and “So You Just Out Here?”.
